Everybody,

So, as you guys know, we've been looking into many other places to have our meetings since our group has gotten so large, and is probably going to get bigger.

One of the places we investigated was a church on Watson Lane (appropriately named Watson Lane Baptist Church). It is a very nice place with several couches, ping-pong tables etc.

For a rental of their room, they are requesting about $15-20 per day of use. This would require that everyone pay a percentage of the cost for playing there. With 10-15 or so people, this works out to at most 2 bucks a piece, not a very high sum.

However, we could have meetings every other week rather than every week. This would require us not only to pay less, but would cut down on the number of games.

Also, we could raise the price of concessions any money earned beyond the initial cost of purchasing said concession, could be used to offset the cost. This would probably require people to still pay out, but the amount would go up or down depending on the previous meetings sales.

Or, we could just say forget it, and keep looking. What do you guys think?

If I show up I would be more than willing to pay that and I have a few friends that might show up and that will add another four with me

Sadly, $2 a piece would hurt us. Not by much but it could be used on something better...like rent. O_O Idk...a bigger place would be nice though.

yea can now see how this could work, and i would only have to pay when i went. sorry it took me so long, i just had to think about it for awhile.

I bigger place would be worth the $2. I would say go for it.
